Churches Together in Castle Cary and Ansford

We are made up of the congregations of All Saints', St Andrew's, the Methodists and the Roman Catholics living locally.
Catholic Services are at SS Luke and Theresa in Wincanton.   Together we are affiliated to the Somerset Churches Together.

The Commitee meets four times a year, and contains Clergy and Lay representatives from the four churches. The Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson each serve for two years.
The Chairman for 2015 -2016 is Canon David Osborne, Vice Chaiman Imelda Collins. Secretary -Canon Frank Fisher,
Treasurer-Val Chainey.
Our aim is to take opportunities to worship together and to enter into any activities that are better held jointly rather than individually, and promote Fellowship and the Gospel of Christ.

We also support Charities by raising an annual sum of money for a chosen Charity  each year in our Lenten Appeal.
Churches Together has raised over £26,000.00 over the past few years for projects such as a new water well at an Aids clinic in Zambia.

We organise the Unity Supper to launch the Lenten appeal, the Good Friday Walk of Witness and a number of other Events and Services.

We have a Luncheon Club for Senior Citizens. This is on the first Monday in the month in the Methodist Hall
