Choir
The choir is an enthusiastic group of people who enjoy singing for a hobby and helping to create the right ambience within the services.
We sing for all the 10am services and Choral evensong on the first Sunday in the month. Full four-part harmony singing, both accompanied and unaccompanied is regularly performed under the direction of Martin Emslie the organist and choirmaster.
New recruits are always welcomed at the regular choir practices on Fridays at 5pm. The choir is particularly busy when preparing for the major festivals such as Christmas and Easter.
Recently the choir have presented works such as Stainer's Crucifixion and The Cross of Christ to great acclaim. |
